Fire Marshal Training
Training Includes a Power point presentation on:
• The Fire Triangle
• Fire Prevention
• Fire Risk Assessments – The RRFSO 2005 and Review
• Emergency Procedures
• Fire precaution measures on site
• Fire Marshal Duties
• Site Walk about and 15 minute break/discussion
• The above takes from 1 hour 15 minutes subject to your specific requirements.
• Followed by "Hands on" Staff training in the use of Portable Extinguishers.
Total training time is up to 3 hours for 12 people (Company booking only)
On successful completion of the course a certificate of training will be issued
"HAND'S ON" STAFF TRAINING
The “HANDS ON TRAINING” session comprises the following four stages:
TALK: Classification of fire Types of extinguishers and their suitability for specific fire risks British Standard/European signage legislation
How to use an extinguisher
DVD: 22 minute DVD called "Fire Safety for Industry".
QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
HANDS-ON PRACTICAL TRAINING
Use of extinguishers and a fire blanket on various types of controlled live fires in a suitable location outside.
The training will concentrate on the clients' own particular type of extinguishers and fire risks.
A session for up to 12 people lasts approx1 hr 30 (Company booking only)
On successful completion of the course a certificate of training will be issued.
STAFF TRAINING DEMONSTRATION (Company booking only)
We offer basic training on your location's relevant fire extinguishers, by way of a talk and demonstration of each piece of equipment in a suitable location outside.
The cost is dependant upon the type of extinguishers use.
Sessions can be arranged for any pre-arranged time to suit the clients' hours of business etc., and are held on site, lasting up to 30 minutes so minimise disruption to your staffs working day.
On completion of all sessions, a group letter of attendance is issued for those members of staff who have participated
