Basic Hands on Fire Extinguisher Training
The “HANDS ON TRAINING” session comprises the following four stages:
- TALK Classification of fire Types of extinguishers and their suitability for specific fire risks British Standard/European signage legislation. How to use an extinguisher.
- DVD 22 minute DVD called "Fire Safety for Industry".
- QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
- HANDS-ON PRACTICAL TRAINING Use of extinguishers and a fire blanket on various types of controlled live fires in a suitable location outside.
The training will concentrate on the clients' own particular type of extinguishers and fire risks.
A session for up to 12 people lasts approx 1 hr 30 mins.
On successful completion of the course a certificate of training will be issued.
